Returns the value of the specified data source field.

Parameters

fieldName	String	A data source field name or another unbound column’s field name.

Returns

Type	Description
Object	A data object contained within the specified field.

Remarks

Handle the UnboundColumnData event to populate unbound columns with data. Call the GetRowValue method to obtain the processed item’s field value.

Example

The following code snippet creates two unbound columns:

• Q2 Sales uses UnboundExpression to calculate cell values.
• Q2 YoY Change (%) uses a UnboundColumnData event handler to obtain column data.
