When the datepicker is displayed as a scroll picker (the PickerDisplayMode property is set to Auto or ScrollPicker), use the ScrollPickerFormat property to define a date format for each scroll picker part (a day, month, and year).

DateEdit ScrollPicker

<DxDateEdit> supports the following formats:

  • ddd - The day of the month and the abbreviated name of the day of the week (14 Wed, 15 Thu, etc).
  • dddd - The day of the month and the full name of the day of the week (14 Wednesday, 15 Thursday, etc.)
  • dd or d - The day of the month (14, 15, etc.)
  • MMM - The abbreviated name of the month (Aug, Sep, etc.)
  • M,MM,or MMMM - The full name of the month (August, September, etc.)
  • y, yy, yyy, or yyyy - The four-digit year (2019, 2020, etc.)

The order of the specified formats defines the order of the corresponding scroll picker parts.
