TileControl.IsLockUpdate Property

Gets if the current tile control is locked by the TileControl.BeginUpdate method call.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraEditors

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraEditors.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

[Browsable(false)]
public bool IsLockUpdate { get; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true if the current tile control is locked by the TileControl.BeginUpdate method call; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

When a series of operations are performed that modify the control’s appearance, multiple updates occur, so the control may flicker. To prevent excessive updates, the TileControl.BeginUpdate and TileControl.EndUpdate methods can be used. These methods should enclose the code that modifies the control’s appearance. In this case, the control will be updated only once - by the TileControl.EndUpdate method.

The IsLockUpdate property is used to define if a TileControl is currently locked by the TileControl.BeginUpdate method call.
