V25.1
  • ChartHitInfo.InSeriesPoint Property

    Gets a value that indicates whether the test point is within a series point.

    Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Charts

    Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Charts.v25.1.dll

    NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Charts

    Declaration

    public bool InSeriesPoint { get; }

    Property Value

    Type Description
    Boolean

    true, if the test point is within a series point; otherwise, false.

    Remarks

    Use the InSeriesPoint property to check whether the test point is in a series point.

    To obtain a particular element located under the test point, use the ChartControl.CalcHitInfo method.

    Example

    This example demonstrates how to calculate the hit information for the chart element over which the mouse pointer is hovering.

    To accomplish this, handle the ChartControl.MouseMove event, obtain the current chart element via the ChartControl.CalcHitInfo method, and if the element is not null (Nothing in Visual Basic), display its information.
