XtraMessageBox.Show(String, String, MessageBoxButtons, MessageBoxIcon, MessageBoxDefaultButton) Method

Parameters

Name Type Description
text String

A string value that specifies the text to display in the message box.

caption String

A string value that specifies the message box’s caption.

buttons MessageBoxButtons

A value that specifies which buttons to display in the message box.

icon MessageBoxIcon

One of the MessageBoxIcon values that specifies which icon to display in the message box.

defaultButton MessageBoxDefaultButton

One of the MessageBoxDefaultButton values that specifies the default button for the message box.

Remarks

The following list shows the default parameters of the Show method overloads. You can override these parameters using a specific Show method overload.

  • Caption - Empty string
  • Buttons - MessageBoxButtons.OK
  • Owner - null
  • Icon - MessageBoxIcon.None
  • DefaultButton - MessageBoxDefaultButton.Button1
  • XtraMessageBox.AllowHtmlText - DefaultBoolean.Default
