Remarks
The Text property value is the text actually displayed by the editor. This is the textual representation of the editor’s BaseEdit.EditValue property formatted as specified by the RepositoryItem.DisplayFormat and RepositoryItem.EditFormat properties and the BaseEdit.FormatEditValue event handler.
Assigning a value to the Text property raises the BaseEdit.ParseEditValue event so you can manually specify how the assigned value should be converted to the actual edit value. Before the actual edit value change, the BaseEdit.EditValueChanging event is raised allowing you to prevent the editor from changing its value. Finally, if the value has been changed successfully, the BaseEdit.EditValueChanged event is raised.
