BaseEdit.DeselectAll() Method

In This Article

Clears selection within the editor.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraEditors

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraEditors.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

public virtual void DeselectAll()

#Remarks

As implemented in the BaseEdit class, the DeselectAll method does nothing. This method can be overridden by descendants as in the TextEdit class, for example, in order to clear selection within the editor.

The method is implemented in the BaseEdit class to support common editor processing by container controls. Containers are able to operate on the inplace editor’s selection without knowing the actual editor type.
