An integer value specifying the row to test by its handle.


Type Description

true if the specified row is a regular data row; otherwise, false.


This method returns true for regular data rows. The false value is returned in the following cases:


Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the IsDataRow member must not be invoked for these Views. The IsDataRow member can only be used with Views that display real data within the Grid Control. Use the following methods to access these Views with which an end user interacts at runtime.
