TextEditBase.ShowTooltipForTrimmedText Property

Gets or sets whether to invoke a tooltip for the editor whose content is trimmed. This is a dependency property.

Boolean

true if a tooltip should be displayed; otherwise, false.

Default value: true.

#Remarks

Text content of the editor is trimmed when it overflows the content area in display mode. Refer to the Assign Editors to Cells topic for more information.

Text trimming is not performed unless the editor’s TextEditBase.TextWrapping property is set to NoWrap. Use the BaseEdit.TrimmedTextToolTipContentTemplate property to customize the tooltip content.
