Remarks
Set the SelectAllOnMouseUp property to true to enable automatic text selection when an editor gets focus by mouse click. To enable text selection when an editor gets focus via a keyboard, set the TextEditBase.SelectAllOnGotFocus to true.
To select all the text within the editor manually, use the TextEditBase.SelectAll method. To select only the specified amount of text, use the TextEdit.Select method.
Note
The SelectAllOnMouseUp property is intended for standalone editors. In GridControl, you can use the DataViewBase.EditorShowMode property to manage the in-place editors’ activation mode. The GridControl will automatically select all text on activation when you set the EditorShowMode property to MouseUp.
