Gets or sets a value that specifies how items are represented as links within the group.
One of the GroupItemLinkMode enumeration values.
Specifies that the group’s settings are taken from the navbar level’s ASPxNavBar.ItemLinkMode property.
Specifies that an item is represented only by its text, and the item’s clickable content is bounded by the text length.
Specifies that an item is represented by both the text and image (if any), and the item’s clickable content is bounded by the total size of the text and image.
Specifies that an item is represented by both the text and image (if any), and the item’s clickable content extends to the width of the group’s boundaries.
Use the ItemLinkMode property to specify the manner in which items are displayed as links within the current group. This property controls whether the clickable content of each item which serves as a link (the item whose NavBarItem.NavigateUrl property is defined) extends to the width of the group’s boundaries (see the GroupItemLinkMode.ContentBounds value) or it is bounded by the size of the item’s text (see the GroupItemLinkMode.TextOnly value) or the total size of the text and image (see the GroupItemLinkMode.TextAndImage).
Note that when the ItemLinkMode property is set to the GroupItemLinkMode.ContentBounds value, the group’s items can be hot-tracked (if the hot-track feature is enabled via the ASPxNavBar.EnableHotTrack property).
The ItemLinkMode property affects items in an individual group of the navbar control. To specify the link mode for every item in the navbar control, set the ASPxNavBar.ItemLinkMode property of the ASPxNavBar object directly.
