BarEditItem.EditWidth Property

Gets or sets the width of an editor, hosted within this BarEditItem.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraBars

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraBars.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

[Browsable(true)]
public virtual int EditWidth { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Int32

An Int32 value that is the width of an editor, hosted within this BarEditItem.

#Remarks

The BarItem.Size property allows you to set the BarEditItem‘s total width. Use the EditWidth property to set the width of an editor within this BarEditItem. The BarEditItem‘s region that displays the item glyph and caption will then be Size.Width - EditWidth pixels in length.

The default value of the EditWidth property is -1. In this case, the actual width of most in-place editors is 50 pixels. Certain editors (for instance, a RepositoryItemRatingControl and RepositoryItemToggleSwitch) have another default width.

The following code snippet (auto-collected from DevExpress Examples) contains a reference to the EditWidth property.
