New list items can be created in an editor by using the server (ListEditItemCollection.Add and ListEditItemCollection.Insert) or client (ASPxClientComboBox.AddItem and ASPxClientComboBox.InsertItem) methods.
The ItemInserted event serves as notification that a new list item has been added to the editor’s ASPxAutoCompleteBoxBase.Items collection.
To specify whether a list item can be created and cancel item creation, handle the ASPxAutoCompleteBoxBase.ItemInserting event.
