ASPxMenuBase.EnableHotTrack Property

Gets or sets a value that specifies whether menu items can visually respond to mouse hovering.

Namespace: DevExpress.Web

Assembly: DevExpress.Web.v22.1.dll

Declaration

[DefaultValue(true)]
public bool EnableHotTrack { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean true

true if the menu’s items can be hot-tracked; otherwise, false.

Remarks

If a menu control’s ASPxMenuBase.ItemLinkMode property is set to the ItemLinkMode.ContentBounds value, the items of the menu can respond to mouse movement i.e. change their appearance, when the mouse pointer is being moved over them. Use the EnableHotTrack property to control the availability of the hot-tracked state for the menu items when the mouse pointer hovers over them. The style used to represent the hot-tracked state is specified via the AppearanceStyle.HoverStyle property which can be available via the corresponding style settings of a menu or an item (for instance, the ASPxMenuBase.ItemStyle, ASPxMenuBase.SubMenuItemStyle, MenuItem.SubMenuItemStyle).
