Gets or sets whether an end-user can change band widths by dragging the edges of their headers.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Grid

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Grid.v21.1.dll

public bool AllowBandResizing { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description

true, to allow an end-user to change band widths; otherwise, false.

End-users are allowed to resize bands if the view’s AllowBandResizing property is set to true. Individual bands provide the BaseColumn.AllowResizing property, allowing the default behavior specified by the view to be overridden. Setting this property to ‘True’ or ‘False’ overrides the default behavior. This can be useful when it is required to prevent an end-user from resizing individual columns.

If the band’s BaseColumn.AllowResizing property is set to ‘Default’, the ability to resize columns is controlled by the view’s AllowBandResizing property. In this instance, to determine whether an end-user can resize a column, use the BaseColumn.ActualAllowResizing property.
