TdxRangeControlDateTimeScale.TruncDate(TDateTime) Method

Rounds the specified date/time value to the beginning of the current whole time interval equal to the measurement unit used to graduate the scale.

#Declaration

Delphi
function TruncDate(const ADate: TDateTime): TDateTime; virtual;

#Parameters

Name Type
ADate TDateTime

#Returns

Type
TDateTime

#Remarks

Normally, this function supports the internal infrastructure and is not intended to be used directly from your code. The TruncDate function is called internally by the MinValue property setter of a Date/Time-based data range selection and visualization model.

If you are implementing a custom date/time scale, you may need to override the TruncDate function in a TdxRangeControlDateTimeScale descendant in order to allow the scale to work with custom measurement units.
