fileName String

A string that specifies the full path to the file to which the default View’s data will be exported.

#Remarks

This method is obsolete. Although the ExportToExcelOld method can still be used in your applications to export data, we recommend you use the BaseView.ExportToXls method instead. Note that the BaseView.ExportToXls requires the XtraPrinting Library to be available.

The ExportToExcelOld method Exports the GridControl.DefaultView‘s data to the specified file in MS Excel format. Group rows (in Grid Views) will be expanded in the output. Note that if this method is called for a master view, its detail Views won’t be exported to the specified file. Only the master View’s data will be exported.
