NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation
Declaration
[DefaultValue(null)]
[DXCategory("Appearance")]
public virtual BarAndDockingController Controller { get; set; }
Property Value
Type | Default | Description |
---|---|---|
BarAndDockingController | null | A BarAndDockingController object that provides default look and feel options for the BackstageViewControl. |
Remarks
If the Controller property is set to null (Nothing in Visual Basic) and the BackstageViewControl is used within a RibbonControl, the BackstageViewControl uses the appearance settings provided by the RibbonControl.GetController method.
If the Controller property is set to null and the BackstageViewControl control is not bound to a RibbonControl, the appearance settings are obtained from the Default BarAndDocking Controller. This represents a static object accessible via the BarAndDockingController.Default property or via the DefaultBarAndDockingController component.
If you explicitly assign a BarAndDockingController object to the Controller property, this controller’s settings will manage the BackstageViewControl‘s appearance.
The actual controller that is used by the BackstageViewControl can be obtained via the BackstageViewControl.GetController method.
