Remarks
You can provide images for BackstageViewControl‘s items using one of two methods:
- Assign images to an item directly via the BackstageViewItem.Glyph, BackstageViewItem.GlyphDisabled, BackstageViewItem.GlyphHover and BackstageViewItem.GlyphPressed properties.
- Add images to an image collection and assign the image collection to the Images property. Then, assign images by their image indexes to buttons via the BackstageViewItem.ImageIndex, BackstageViewItem.ImageIndexDisabled, BackstageViewItem.ImageIndexHover and BackstageViewItem.ImageIndexPressed properties.
The Images property accepts the following image collections:
- ImageCollection - Supports image transparency.
- SharedImageCollection - Supports image transparency. Allows you to share images between controls within multiple forms.
- SvgImageCollection - Stores vector icons that can scale without losing their quality on high resolution devices.
- ImageList.
