BaseColumn.FixedWidth Property

Gets or sets whether the column’s width remains the same when the auto column width feature is enabled. This is a dependency property.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Grid

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Grid.v24.2.Core.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Grid.Core

#Declaration

[DefaultValue(false)]
public bool FixedWidth { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Default Description
Boolean false

true the column’s width remains the same when the auto column width feature is enabled; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

Column widths can be changed automatically, so that the total columns’ width matches the grid’s width. In this instance, changing the width of one column automatically changes the widths of other columns. This behavior is controlled by the view’s TableView.AutoWidth property.

To prevent the width of an individual column(s) from being changed when resizing other columns, you should set its BaseColumn.FixedWidth property to true.
