BarManager.CheckBarItemNames Property

Gets or sets whether a check is carried out to verify that bar item links refer to existing bar items.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Bars

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Core.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Core

#Declaration

public static bool CheckBarItemNames { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true if the check is carried out; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

When defining a bar item link in XAML, you use the BarItemLinkBase.BarItemName property to specify the BarItem descendant to which the current link refers. If the CheckBarItemNames property is set to true, and any bar item link refers to a non-existing bar item, an exception will be raised to inform you of the error.

You can prevent this exception from being raised by setting the CheckBarItemNames property to false.
