Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Grid
Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Grid.v24.1.Core.dll
NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Grid.Core
Declaration
[Obsolete("Use the DataControlBase.CopyToClipboard method instead")]
[Browsable(false)]
public void CopyToClipboard()
Remarks
Copying view data to the clipboard is allowed if the DataControlBase.ClipboardCopyMode property is not set to ClipboardCopyMode.None.
The CopyToClipboard method copies the selected rows or cells to the clipboard. Only the contents of the visible columns are copied. For group rows, this method copies only the values of the grouping columns. Records hidden within the collapsed group rows aren’t included. Records in the clipboard are separated by the newline strings (“\r\n”). The TAB character (“\t”) is used to separate the values within a record.
The focused row (if displayed) is always copied, regardless of its selected state.
If the DataControlBase.ClipboardCopyMode property is set to ClipboardCopyMode.IncludeHeader, the CopyToClipboard method also copies the column captions to the clipboard.
