Remarks

A data source type affects how the GridControl processes data shaping operations:

IBindingList

Data shaping operations are already enabled.

INotifyPropertyChanged

The GridControl ignores data shaping operations. To process these operations, set the AllowLiveDataShaping property to true or call the RefreshData method.

Virtual Sources

If your data is changed on the data source level, call the VirtualSourceBase.RefreshRows method instead.

The RefreshData method does not update data in columns bound to nested properties through the ColumnBase.Binding property. Use the ColumnBase.FieldName property instead.
