A string that specifies the item’s description.

#Remarks

This property specifies the gallery item’s description which is displayed below the item’s caption. The item’s caption is specified by the GalleryItem.Caption property.

The visibility of the item’s caption and description is specified by the Gallery.IsItemCaptionVisible and Gallery.IsItemDescriptionVisible properties.

You can manually wrap text in the string assigned to the Description property. This can be accomplished by using line break characters (“\r\n” in C#, and vbCrLf in Visual Basic).

To specify a template used to present the item’s description in a custom manner, use the Gallery.ItemDescriptionTemplate property.
