TcxCustomCheckBoxProperties.ValueChecked Property

Specifies the value that the EditValue property returns when in the checked state.

Declaration

property ValueChecked: TcxEditValue read; write;

Property Value

Type
TcxEditValue

Remarks

If the check box editor is in the checked state, the EditValue property returns the value defined by the ValueChecked member. For other check box states, the EditValue property returns ValueGrayed or ValueUnchecked.

A data-aware check box editor (the TcxDBCheckBox control) posts a ValueChecked, ValueUnchecked or ValueGrayed property value in the case of the corresponding state (checked, unchecked or grayed). Conversely, when the data-aware check box editor retrieves data from the dataset, it is set to one of the abovementioned states:

  • the checked state if the field specifies the ValueChecked property value;

  • the unchecked state if the field specifies the ValueUnchecked property value;

  • the grayed state if the field identifies neither the ValueChecked nor the ValueUnchecked property value.

The default value of the ValueChecked property is True (a Boolean value).

Note

The ValueChecked property does not accept a NULL value to avoid conflicts with ValueGrayed default value processing.
