GridOptionsView.MergedCellEditMode Property

Gets or sets how users can edit merged cells.

MergedCellEditMode Default

Specifies how users can edit merged cells.

Available values:

Name Description
Default

Similar to Disabled.

Disabled

The grid does not highlight the focused merged cell and does not allow users to edit merged cells.

FocusedCell

Users can focus a cell within the merged batch and edit this cell.

VisibleCells

When a user edits a focused merged cell, all cells in the merged batch and visible on screen are modified.

#Remarks

You can use the AllowCellMerge property to merge neighboring cells with the same value in GridView and BandedGridView.
