ColumnView.HiddenEditor Event

Fires immediately after an inplace editor has been closed.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Base

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v24.2.dll

NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Win.Grid, DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

[DXCategory("Editor")]
public event EventHandler HiddenEditor

#Event Data

The HiddenEditor event's data class is EventArgs.

#Remarks

End-users can hide inplace editors by pressing the ENTER or ESC key or moving focus outside the edited cell. You can also perform the same via code by calling either the BaseView.CloseEditor or the ColumnView.HideEditor method. In any of these instances, the HiddenEditor event is raised.

Note that the HiddenEditor event is raised after the edited value has been validated and the editor has been destroyed. You can handle this event to perform any cleanup necessary after ColumnView.ShownEditor event handler execution or to perform other actions at editor close.
