Remarks
In MDI applications, Ribbon Controls support automatic merging. The RibbonControl.MdiMergeStyle property of the main MDI form specifies whether automatic merging is enabled, and if so, when the merge and unmerge mechanisms are invoked. If automatic merging is disabled, Ribbon Controls can be merged and unmerged manually via the MergeRibbon and RibbonControl.UnMergeRibbon methods.
The BarItem.MergeType properties of bar items in main and child MDI forms define how the items behave during merge operations: whether the child form’s items replace the main form’s items, or are simply appended to the parent form’s Ribbon Control/status bar, etc.
