#Remarks

If the CloseOnClick property is set to Default or True, tooltips are closed when they are clicked.

If the CloseOnClick property is set to True, tooltips are not auto-closed after a delay (ToolTipController.AutoPopDelay). Otherwise, the tooltips are auto-closed except for cases described in the ToolTipController.KeepWhileHovered topic.

If a tooltip is displayed onscreen and the CloseOnClick option is disabled, mouse messages are sent to the following controls:

  • for flyout tooltips - messages are sent to controls within the flyout tooptips.
  • for regular and super tooltips - messages are sent to controls located under the tooltips.
