PivotGridControl.AsyncOperationCompleted Event

Occurs after an asynchronous operation has been completed.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid.v23.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.PivotGrid

Declaration

public event RoutedEventHandler AsyncOperationCompleted

Event Data

The AsyncOperationCompleted event's data class is RoutedEventArgs. The following properties provide information specific to this event:

Property Description
Handled Gets or sets a value that indicates the present state of the event handling for a routed event as it travels the route.
OriginalSource Gets the original reporting source as determined by pure hit testing, before any possible Source adjustment by a parent class.
RoutedEvent Gets or sets the RoutedEvent associated with this RoutedEventArgs instance.
Source Gets or sets a reference to the object that raised the event.

The event data class exposes the following methods:

Method Description
InvokeEventHandler(Delegate, Object) When overridden in a derived class, provides a way to invoke event handlers in a type-specific way, which can increase efficiency over the base implementation.
OnSetSource(Object) When overridden in a derived class, provides a notification callback entry point whenever the value of the Source property of an instance changes.

Remarks

The AsyncOperationCompleted event occurs after an asynchronous operation has been completed, and before a custom procedure specified by the AsyncCompletedHandler delegate is started (if implemented).

Note

For certain asynchronous operations, PivotGridControl automatically performs specific actions to handle operation results after the background thread is completed. The AsyncOperationCompleted event is raised before these actions are started, so that the pivot grid’s state at the moment of executing the event handler may be invalid. Therefore, it is not safe to perform operations that depend on the current pivot grid’s settings, data or layout in the AsyncOperationCompleted event handler.

The PivotGridControl.AsyncOperationStarting event occurs before an asynchronous operation is started.
