TcxCustomRichEditProperties.MemoMode Property

Specifies whether the rich text editor represents the rtf data as plaint text in the edit mode.

Remarks

Set the MemoMode property to True to provide the rtf data from an internal cache (see the Lines property) for editing as plaint text, without rtf markup tags.

It is recommended that customizing text style attributes such as the TextColor and TextStyle is done in memo mode only.

Note

Rich edit controls do not directly support streaming. Use the Lines property to stream to or from a file.

The default value of the MemoMode property is False.
