Remarks
If the appearance settings provided by the FieldValueGrandTotal property are not specified, Grand Total headers are painted using the settings provided by the PivotGridAppearancesBase.FieldValueTotal property. If the settings provided by the PivotGridAppearancesBase.FieldValueTotal property are not specified, the appearance of grand total headers is specified by the PivotGridAppearancesBase.FieldValue property.
To customize the appearance of grand total headers corresponding to a particular data field, use the PivotGridFieldAppearances.ValueGrandTotal property.
If the Pivot Grid Control is painted in the WindowsXP, Office2003 or Skin style, the appearance settings used to paint the background of Grand Total headers are ignored.
Grand Total headers can also be custom painted using the PivotGridControl.CustomDrawFieldValue event.
