Remarks

The CustomTotalCell property specifies the default appearance settings of cells that belong to custom totals. It’s possible to override the appearance settings of cells that belong to particular custom totals via the PivotGridCustomTotal.Appearance property.

Custom total cells can also be custom painted using the PivotGridControl.CustomDrawCell event.
