Color

A Color object specifying the end color of the linear gradient brush used to fill the background.

Remarks

If the BackColor2 property’s value is Color.Empty, the background is filled with a solid brush. This brush’s color is specified by the AppearanceObject.BackColor property.

If the BackColor2 property’s value is not Color.Empty, the background is filled with a linear gradient brush. In this case, the start and end colors of the brush are specified by the AppearanceObject.BackColor and BackColor2 properties respectively.

Note

Do not set the BackColor2 property without setting the AppearanceObject.BackColor property. Otherwise, you may observe controls painted incorrectly.
