PivotGridControl.MergeColumnFieldValues Property

Gets or sets whether to merge the neighboring column headers if they contain the same field value. This is a dependency property.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.PivotGrid.v23.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.PivotGrid

public bool MergeColumnFieldValues { get; set; }

Property Value

Type Description

true to merge the neighboring column headers, if they contain the same field value; otherwise, false.

When you enable this property, the field values of outer column fields are merged when a pivot grid is printed or exported in the WYSIWYG mode (in the same way as the outer field values are displayed in the control on a form). Otherwise, merged cells are split into small cells, so each duplicates a value of the original cell.

The property is not in effect when ColumnTotalsLocation is Tree. In this case, the outer column fields are not duplicated in the exported document.

To specify whether to merge the neighboring row headers, use the PivotGridControl.MergeRowFieldValues property.
