GridView.FooterPanelHeight Property

Gets or sets the height of the view footer.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Grid

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v24.2.dll

NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Win.Grid, DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

[DefaultValue(-1)]
[DXCategory("Appearance")]
[XtraSerializableProperty(XtraSerializationFlags.AutoScaleY)]
public virtual int FooterPanelHeight { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Default Description
Int32 -1

An integer value specifying the View footer height in pixels. -1 to calculate the View footer height automatically.

#Remarks

The View footer height cannot be less than required to fit all footer cells. Note: the footer cells layout matches the column headers layout. Thus, footer cells can be arranged into several rows in Advanced Banded Grid Views. When the FooterPanelHeight property value is -1, the footer panel has the minimum height needed to fit its cells. This height allows the display of a single text line within cells (according to the current style). Note that setting the property to positive values can only increase the footer panel’s size.

Increasing the footer panel’s height may be needed when custom painting the footer panel, for instance. To do so, handle the GridView.CustomDrawFooter event.
