PrintingSystemBase.LoadDocument(String) Method
Loads a document from a file in a native XML format (PRNX).
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraPrinting
Assembly: DevExpress.Printing.v24.1.Core.dll
NuGet Package: DevExpress.Printing.Core
Declaration
Parameters
Name | Type | Description |
---|---|---|
filePath | String | A String, which specifies the file name (including the full path) of the PRNX file to be loaded. |
Remarks
Use the PrintingSystemBase.SaveDocument and LoadDocument methods to save a printing system‘s document (all its pages and bricks) to a PRNX file, and then load it into another printing system instance. This may be required, for example, when it’s necessary to pass a generated report to another machine that doesn’t have access to the same data as the machine that generated the report.
Prior to saving a printing system document, it must be created by calling the LinkBase.CreateDocument method.
The printing system’s PrintingSystemBase.ExportOptions provide the ExportOptions.NativeFormat property, which specifies how a document should be saved to a PRNX file. For example, to reduce the size of the resulting PRNX file, set the NativeFormatOptions.Compressed property to true.
