GridViewAppearances.GroupRow Property

Gets the appearance settings used to paint group rows (and the corresponding indents).

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Grid

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v24.2.dll

NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Win.Grid, DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

public AppearanceObject GroupRow { get; }

#Property Value

Type Description
AppearanceObject

A AppearanceObject object that provides the appearance settings used to paint group rows and the corresponding indents.

#Remarks

The GroupRow property specifies the appearance settings for all group rows and the corresponding indents within a View. However, custom appearance settings can be applied to individual group rows and their indents in the GridView.RowStyle and GridView.GroupLevelStyle event handlers, respectively.

Group rows can also be custom painted using the GridView.CustomDrawGroupRow event. In this case, all appearance settings are ignored.

For more information on appearances, see the Appearance and Conditional Formatting topic.
