Remarks
,A hint, displayed by a ValidationHint object if the ValidationHintBaseDefaultProperties.ShowHint property allows it, can display an image and text string. To assign an image, use any of the following properties.
- ValidationHintBaseDefaultProperties.IconType - allows you to choose one of the predefined images for each validation state.
- ValidationHintBaseDefaultProperties.Icon - stores a constant image that will be shown regardless of the currently applied application skin.
- ValidationHintBaseDefaultProperties.ImageUri - stores a context-dependent image that changes depending on the currently applied skin (see the Image Gallery and Context-Dependent Images article).
Any of these images can be disabled by setting the ShowIcon property to false.
If the ShowIcon property is not set to DefaultBoolean.Default, it overrides the global setting (the ValidationHintBaseProperties.ShowIcon property) for individual ValidationHint objects.
