#Remarks

,A hint, displayed by a ValidationHint object if the ValidationHintBaseDefaultProperties.ShowHint property allows it, can display an image and text string.

Use one of the following properties to specify a hint image:

  • ImageOptions.SvgImage
  • ImageOptions.Image
  • ImageOptions.ImageUri
  • ImageOptions.IconType (warning, question, information, etc.)

Any of these images can be disabled by setting the ShowIcon property to false.

If the ShowIcon property is not set to DefaultBoolean.Default, it overrides the global setting (the ValidationHintBaseProperties.ShowIcon property) for individual ValidationHint objects.
