TdxSmartImageCodec.GetSize(TStream,TSize) Method

Returns pixel dimensions of an image stored in a stream.

Parameters

Name	Type	Description
AStream	TStream	The source stream.
ASize	TSize	The dimensions of the image stored in a stream passed as the AStream parameter.

Returns

Type	Description
Boolean	True if the image size retrieval operation is successful; otherwise, False.

Remarks

The GetSize class function attempts to retrieve only image dimensions from a specified stream and ignores other image data.

UI layout calculation routines in DevExpress controls call the GetSize function to identify dimension of all UI elements with glyphs without the need to load all source images beforehand.
