Quarter-Circular Scales
In the Gauge control, there are two types of Quarter-Circular scales available:
- Left Quarter-Circular Scales implemented as the TdxGaugeCircularQuarterLeftScale and TdxGaugeDBCircularQuarterLeftScale objects, corresponding to unbound and data-aware scale versions, respectively:
- Right Quarter-Circular Scales implemented as the TdxGaugeCircularQuarterRightScale and TdxGaugeDBCircularQuarterRightScale objects, corresponding to unbound and data-aware scale versions, respectively:
Like Half-Circular scales, the Quarter-Circular scales limit the arc angles available in their layouts. The left and right quarter-circular scales occupy the upper-left and upper-right quarters of the full circular scale layout, respectively.
Thus, the left quarter-circular scale limits the starting and ending angles corresponding to the minimum and maximum displayed values within the range between 180 and 90 degrees. In the case of the right quarter-circular scale layout these angles are limited by the range between 90 and 0 degrees, respectively:
In quarter-circular scales, the range of displayed values can occupy any part of the available arc:
As in the case of full circular and half-circular scales, you can swap the starting and ending angles, inverting the scale’s range of displayed values:
Note that a particular shape of quarter-circular scale’s background layer depends on the currently selected style.
