ColumnView.HasColumnErrors Property

Indicates whether the focused row or at least a single cell within the focused row has an error assigned.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Base

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v24.2.dll

NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Win.Grid, DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

[Browsable(false)]
public virtual bool HasColumnErrors { get; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true if the focused row has errors; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

The HasColumnErrors property returns true if an error has been assigned to the focused record via the ColumnView.SetColumnError method. If an error has been assigned on the data source level, the HasColumnErrors property returns false.

The error assigned to a particular cell within the focused row can be obtained using the ColumnView.GetColumnError method.

For more information on errors, see the Internal ErrorInfo Support topic.

Note

Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the HasColumnErrors member must not be invoked for these Views. The HasColumnErrors member can only be used with Views that display real data within the Grid Control. Use the following methods to access these Views with which an end user interacts at runtime.
