BaseView.IsDefaultState Property
Gets a value indicating whether the View is in normal state.
Namespace: DevExpress.XtraGrid.Views.Base
Assembly: DevExpress.XtraGrid.v24.1.dll
NuGet Packages: DevExpress.Win.Grid, DevExpress.Win.Navigation
Declaration
Property Value
Type | Description |
---|---|
Boolean | true always. |
Remarks
The IsDefaultState property indicates whether the View is in the normal state. This implies that the end-user is not performing any action at the moment. As implemented in the BaseView class, the IsDefaultState property always returns true. Descendant classes override this property as required.
Note
Detail pattern Views do not contain data and they are never displayed within XtraGrid. So, the IsDefaultState member must not be invoked for these Views. The IsDefaultState member can only be used with Views that display real data within the Grid Control. Use the following methods to access these Views with which an end user interacts at runtime.
- GridControl.MainView - returns the top most View in a grid;
- GridControl.FocusedView - returns the focused View;
- GridControl.DefaultView - returns the currently maximized View;
- the sender parameter of View specific events;
- GridView.GetDetailView - returns a detail clone View for a specific master row.
