BaseLayoutItem.AllowMaximize Property

Gets or sets whether the current item can be maximized. This property is supported for floating LayoutPanel and DocumentPanel objects.

Namespace: DevExpress.Xpf.Docking

Assembly: DevExpress.Xpf.Docking.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Wpf.Docking

#Declaration

public bool AllowMaximize { get; set; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true, if the current item can be maximized; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

To maximize a floating panel in code, use the Maximize method provided by the DockLayoutManager.MDIController object. An end-user can maximize a panel by double-clicking the panel header or via the panel’s maximize button. The maximize and restore buttons display is controlled by the LayoutPanel.ShowMaximizeButton and LayoutPanel.ShowRestoreButton properties. If the AllowMaximize property in disabled, the buttons are always hidden and double-clicking on a panel’s header does not work.
