TdxSpreadSheetPageOrientationGallery Class

An action object that implements the PageOrientationGallery end-user command in spreadsheet-based applications.

Remarks

This class does not introduce any new public members. Its overridden Execute function call switches the active worksheet’s printout page orientation between “Portrait” (default) and “Landscape”, depending on an item selected in the linked UI gallery.

UI elements linked to a TdxSpreadSheetPageOrientationGallery action object are enabled only if the active worksheet has focus (that is, a focused cell or floating container).

Use the sdxSpreadSheetActionPageOrientationGalleryCaption resource string to localize the caption of a Ribbon gallery item or toolbar subitem linked to a TdxSpreadSheetPageOrientationGallery object. To localize the “Portrait” and “Landscape” gallery options, use the sdxSpreadSheetActionSetPortraitPageOrientationCaption and sdxSpreadSheetActionSetLandscapePageOrientationCaption resource strings, respectively.

Note

The PageOrientationGallery end-user command has replaced the SetLandscapePageOrientation and SetPortraitPageOrientation commands in the automatic UI generation scheme. The replaced commands now exist only to ensure backward compatibility with previous versions of DevExpress controls.
