Ribbon Application and Form IDE Templates
The ExpressBars Suite ships with IDE templates that help you create Ribbon style applications and forms from scratch. Click File | New > Other… in your IDE to open the New Items dialog and browse the corresponding folders for available templates.
Select the required template and click OK to display a preview dialog for your new Ribbon style application/form.
Click a tab in the dialog to select a corresponding Ribbon style for preview. Then, click OK to close the dialog and apply the selected style. The form template creates a simple Ribbon form with the essential set of our components required for the selected Ribbon style. The application template creates an empty project prior to adding the Ribbon form to it. The Ribbon form and the components on it are initialized according to the selected style.
The created Ribbon UI includes only a few elements. They provide the base for further development. You can add more Ribbon tabs, Backstage View pages, status bar panels and tab groups, and populate them with bar items (commands).
