Remarks

Set the EnableGridDropZones property to true to enable the classic PivotTable layout that was used in Microsoft® Excel® 2003.

Classic PivotTable layout

The EnableGridDropZones property does not affect the layout of a pivot table when the document is displayed in the Spreadsheet control. However, the property value is saved to the workbook, so that you can view the document in Microsoft® Excel® or another spreadsheet application.
