Remarks
The following code snippet hides horizontal lines and displays vertical lines in the print/export output:
gridView1.OptionsPrint.PrintHorzLines = false;
gridView1.OptionsPrint.PrintVertLines = true;

Note
When exporting data to XLS(x) format in data-aware mode (the default mode), vertical lines are printed up to the end of the output sheet (for performance reasons).
In WYSIWYG export mode, vertical lines are only printed for exported cells.
