IDocumentDefaultProperties.CanShowPinButton Property

Gets whether the current Document can display its Pin Button.

Namespace: DevExpress.XtraBars.Docking2010.Views.Tabbed

Assembly: DevExpress.XtraBars.v24.2.dll

NuGet Package: DevExpress.Win.Navigation

#Declaration

[Browsable(false)]
bool CanShowPinButton { get; }

#Property Value

Type Description
Boolean

true if the current Document can display its Pin Button; otherwise, false.

#Remarks

Tabs within a TabbedView can be pinned. Use the IDocumentProperties.AllowPin or IDocumentDefaultProperties.AllowPin properties to enable/disable the pinned tabs feature for all the View’s Documents or individual Documents respectively. If a Document can be pinned, you can specify whether its tab header should display a Pin Button via the IDocumentDefaultProperties.ShowPinButton property. The IDocumentProperties.ShowPinButton property has a lower priority and affects all Documents within a View. The CanShowPinButton property gets whether the current Document can display its Pin Button.

Additionally, you can regulate which tab headers - active only, active and focused or all existing - can display Pin Buttons. Use the IDocumentGroupProperties.PinPageButtonShowMode property to do so.
