#Remarks

You can use a View’s IDocumentProperties.AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property to specify whether all documents within a Tabbed View can be made floating with a double click on the document headers. A document’s AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property allows you to override this setting for individual documents.

If the AllowFloatOnDoubleClick setting is set to DefaultBoolean.Default, the actual setting is specified by the View’s IDocumentProperties.AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property. Otherwise, the actual setting is specified by the AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property.

The AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property is not in effect if the IBaseDocumentProperties.AllowFloat or IBaseDocumentDefaultProperties.AllowFloat property forbids making a panel floating.

A View’s IDocumentProperties.AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property is accessible via the BaseView.DocumentProperties object. A document’s AllowFloatOnDoubleClick property is accessible via the BaseDocument.Properties object.

To learn about floating and docked documents, see BaseView.FloatDocuments.
